A Little Something Different by Sandy Hall

Everyone knows that Gabe and Lea like each other. Everyone except themselves.

Goodreads synopsis;

The creative writing teacher, the delivery guy, the local Starbucks baristas, his best friend, her roommate, and the squirrel in the park all have one thing in common—they believe that Gabe and Lea should get together. Lea and Gabe are in the same creative writing class. They get the same pop culture references, order the same Chinese food, and hang out in the same places. Unfortunately, Lea is reserved, Gabe has issues, and despite their initial mutual crush, it looks like they are never going to work things out.  But somehow even when nothing is going on, something is happening between them, and everyone can see it. Their creative writing teacher pushes them together. The baristas at Starbucks watch their relationship like a TV show. Their bus driver tells his wife about them. The waitress at the diner automatically seats them together. Even the squirrel who lives on the college green believes in their relationship.

Surely Gabe and Lea will figure out that they are meant to be together....

                                   This book was adorable.
This book is told in the perspective of everyone but the two main characters. So that means a hilarious squirrel obsessed with his acorns, a waitress, Gabe and Lea's best friends and family members, a bus driver, Starbucks baristas, and a very funny bench obsessed with having the perfect butt sit on him.

I loved every second of this book. The characters are quirky and fun, and the overall idea of this book is great. I couldn't find one bad thing about this book. Plus, Gabe definitely qualifies as a fictional boyfriend. He's sweet, caring, loving, and shy, WHICH MAKES HIM EVEN CUTER. *squeals*.

All in all I recommend this book for you all. There's no sex, so it's perfect for a younger audience as well. This book was definitely a palette cleanser, and a nice book to read anytime. This is one of my new favorites, so I recommend you all read this.

Thanks for reading! I hope you all enjoyed today's post. School starts up in about a week so it may be harder to post, but I'll try my hardest. Have a great day!
