Tea Talk 1; Soundtracks, Books, and Libraries

It's been so long! I feel that because of my absence, we should totally catch up.

Okay, so first off, I have recently been super obsessed with the Beauty and the Beast soundtrack. The entire score is so enchanting, perfect for the movie's majesty. My favorites are Evermore, Days in the Sun, and Something There. I prefer the songs sung by the actors because it brings me back to the movie. Especially when Dan Stevens sang Evermore in the movie, the entire sequence was so perfect. His voice was so powerful and the cinematography was the icing on top.

For some reason lately I haven't been able to finish any books. I tried reading like 3 books and I COULDN'T DO IT. I'm so frustrated because I definitely don't want to end up in a slump because those are the worst. But, I finally found something that I can get through so... here's to hoping I can get through the book without getting bored *clinks mugs*.

That kind of leads into my next topic, my giant library haul. I checked out 6 sizeable books and bought 1. Basically, I looked like a huge dork. Honestly, I wanted to get about 3 more, but my mom was kind of making fun of me and then told me I could only pick 3. I bargained for 4 and the she showed me another one that she had read as an arc, and I got that too. And of course, the one book I bought for $1. I'll quickly share with you the books I got.

Checked out from the library:

Legacy of Kings by Eleanor Herman
(Just finished it and totally loved it! Review coming soon!)

Snow Like Ashes by Sarah Raasch

Wintersong by S. Jae-Jones

The Inexplicable Logic of My Life by Benjamin Alire Saenz
     (It's amazing as expected!)

Aahhhh, okay so I just went to the library again and got 2 more books...

My Lady Jane by Brodi Ashton, Cynthia Hand, and Jodi Meadows

Empire of Dust (Blood of Gods and Royals book two) by Eleanor Herman
(AKA the second Legacy of Kings book, which I can't wait to read!)

Purchased from the library:

A Torch Against The Night by Sabaa Tahir
I already had an arc copy of this book, but it doesn't match my hardcover edition, and I love this series too much to pass up a $1 copy of this book so...

So baseball season has started up again which is really exciting because I love watching baseball and going to my brother's games. My brother plays full time travel baseball and basketball, and as much as I love basketball, I guess I have grown an attachment to baseball. What would I do with my summer's be without the endless innings and hot sun as I'm sitting there stuck in my dance clothes after class is over? Probably shower?

Speaking of dance, I can't wait to add a TON more classes to my schedule because I really need dance in my life, I just miss it too much. I've been so busy lately with school and stuff that I haven't been able to continue, but things are starting to calm down around me so I can't wait!

Thanks for reading today's post! I hope you'll stick around for some new content coming soon!
