Signs Point To Yes by Sandy Hall

This adorable and admirably diverse book was nothing short of spectacular. It may not be long, but it is perfectly paced with lots of secrets and adventure hidden in between the pages.

Goodreads synopsis;
If only Jane’s Magic 8 Ball could tell her how to get through the summer. With her “perfect” sister, Margo, home for her “perfect” internship, Jane is not going to be able to spend the summer writing fan fiction, as she had planned. And her emergency babysitting job requires Jane to spend the whole summer in awkward proximity to her new crush, Teo, a nerdy-hot lifeguard with problems of his own. With his best friend out of town, Teo finds himself without anyone to confide in…except Jane. Will Jane and Teo be able to salvage each other’s summer? Even the Magic 8 Ball doesn’t have an answer…but signs point to yes.

CHARACTERS
The characters were all so unique and diverse in their own ways, in terms of sexuality, race, and family situations. I loved the way they all fit together, even if some of them had their issues/unreasonable prejudices with/against each other. *ahem* Ravi *ahem*. The way they all connected and worked together was truly a scene I will always remember, and makes me hope I can find friends that amazing.

PLOT
The way everything worked out in the end was, yes, adorkable, yet open-ended. It all wrapped up very nicely, but I think it's my inner fangirl saying that she wants more.

PACING
The pacing was moderate, yet makes you crave more. It was so gripping that I managed to finish this guy in two sittings. I'd say that the pacing was perfect and leaves readers wanting more of Hall's work.

Overall, Signs Point To Yes was beautifully written and left an impression readers will remember. It's books like these that remind me why I love reading.

FINAL RATING~
5/5 stars
