Okay, so this is a new thing I'll be starting. I don't know if it'll stick or not, but might as well try it out. If I don't like it I won't continue, but here goes something.
What happened;
- I almost fainted in language arts. Disclaimer: I am not trying to make anyone take pity on me/ vying for attention with this story. I am just recalling the events, so I remember.
It all started on Monday. I had been having back pains, I believe I strained a muscle or something. I was on spring break and I wasn't focused on it too much. Then, on Tuesday, it really began to hurt. Alas, I suffered through the day, only complaining to my parents and friends that I felt like an old man. Then, on Wednesday, my back was in pain. It was to the point I was going to cry in the middle of class. I tried to stretch it out, aiming to soothe my muscles, but I think I may have worsened it. When there were a few minutes left in class, I stood up to see if I could. I had a plan to text my mother and ask her to pick me up because I was in so much pain, but that wasn't necessary. Because as I stood up, my vision became darker by the second and there was a loud ringing noise in my ears. Then I sat down and I told my friends standing next to me, "I think I'm going to faint." I honestly think I did, but I can't be sure. There is this gap in my memory of what happened for about two seconds. Anyways, I was so nauseous that I had to lie my head down on another chair. Eventually the nurse came up to get me out of class, and she came with the wheelchair. Nobody was in the class (thank goodness) because the next period had already started. But after that my mother came to pick me up and I cried because it was scary and my back hurt A LOT. The rest of the day I just iced my back on and off, but that was it.
- I prepared my solo festival.
This is an annual festival at my school where the band and choir students perform solos. It is a chance for us as students to perform individually for an audience. The festival is tomorrow and I am nervous, and also anxious to get it over with. I'm so done it's not even funny. But anyways, I am going to be performing an instrumental solo, and I may even upload something to my bookstagram from it...
I read The Book Thief by Markus Zusak, so expect a review (maybe. It's so popular already that I don't know if it's worth it).
- I wrote a narrative from the P.O.V of a girl who survived the holocaust.
It was such an amazing experience for me to learn so much and even develop more as a writer. I learned a lot about the holocaust and my writing style.
Goals For Next Week;
- If not already finished with TBT, finish it
- Have a good week altogether
Okay, so I hope you guys liked that. My week was not very eventful, and I don't think I'll do this again, but at least I tried it! Hope you all had a spectacular week and I'll talk to you in my next post.
